finally my orientation goin to end soon on next week

will have a discussion wid manager on my position

really headache la..

cause even he let me choose i also donno how to choose.

shd i really do sales n marketing?

Graduated and Job Hunting

Has been a long time didnt update my blog.

I was officially graduated d.

Currenly struggle on whr to work.

At d final sem of my MMU life, i failed to achieve my mission and get a terrible results for all d subjects taken. really unexpected..

For the day i set d target till d day b4 my final exam.. everything still go smooth..

But unfortunately, i do poorly in my final exam.

End up downgrade for my algorithm and get 2 B in my core.

d situation is like i pay RM1024 to retake d subject and downgrade fr B to B-..

stupid enuff!

but luckily my FYP get A- can help me maintain my CGPA at the level of 3.63

For job hunting..

At first i really donno where i wan to work for and i feel like vr hard for me to get a job.

But then slowly i found tat as long as u can talk well. then u can get d job..haha

However, even i get a lot of offer but i dont really know which job i really interested on.. omg..

below are summary of job that i got interview.

1) WD firmware engineer

My first interview, failed it as my programming background really poor enough..

2) Texas Instrument product engineer

My first choice.. high pay, great benefit, guarantee travel to US for training. but bond 2 years.

3) EITA project engineer

My favorite position, mayb cause get influent in project engineering dept drg Internship at Schneider. however 2.1k really a bit low.. and i give up d chance as i still wait for other offer.

4) Cheng Hua electrical engineer

Great company to learn.. bt too bad is not my field. and i give up d chance.

5) Pintas IP patent engineer

Another choice of me which enable me to involve in patent engineer field.. but i give up d chance again as i really have no confidence on my English standard

6) Amada consulting engineer

Arranged by recruitment firm..to explore myself in the consulting field.. but d product of this company really cant attract me.. i reject d second interview.

7) OYL R&D engineer

1 of my most preferable company.. good bonus and benefit.. but unfortunately they offer me for the electrical engineer post again.. really donno how. there will be a second interview on 5th july

8) UMW management trainee

A great company to work with. good pay and benefit. but just nt my field.

9) Canon Machinery software engineer

Arrange by recruitment firm as well. i apply for hardware engineer but end up offer me for software engineer.. so no choice i have to reject.

10) WD product engineer

Second chance for me to get into WD. but i rejected it cause i feel tat Texas is better.

Fr d summary.. i was vr surprise i manage to get 7/10 offer fr d position interviewed .. but end up i donno wan to go whr..

Due to better future perspective. i choose TI and reject WD and UMW. But who know when i go in i found tat d job function is not as expected. Although still very good future and can learn.. but i dono y just feel dont like to work in operation line. i dont wan to give up my weekend and public holiday bt stay in d factory.. although d OT claim is vr good and can earn >3k per month for sure and gt chance to go US for training. but end up i still resigned after 3 days of work. really down. Donno i will regret ont in d future.

After i resigned. i received call fr UMW to ask me reconsider. i vr surprise thy willing to give me d second chance. Therefore, i go to the UMW office to see d workin environment and job function. There is nthg related to Electronic. but only management and mechanical as the product is toyota fortlift. Howevr, i feel like mayb this is d way that i shd go for. I not actually like to do too much technical hand-on. I really take a lot of time to think on wat i really like to do, but i cant get d answer. Since i already reject WD and not so good also for me to call bac. OYL also nt d position i like to. So i decided to stay in UMW to begin my career. hope i make d correct decision tis time and will work here for at least 1 year.

FYP Settled!!!

It been a long long time i nv update my blog d after the FYP part 1 presentation
Finally, today i have a little bit time on here d =)
Same as the last post,
just passed my FYP part 2 presentation
the preparation for this time same as last time again
last min work
haha
actually this time there are quite some time for me to prepare
but i still do my slide till yesterday nite b4 i can practices on wat to present
i think i do quite a complete and quality slide
both my supervisor and moderator seem satisfied with my presentation
i think they just think d flow and contents were good, but not my presentation skill
for me
i dont think that my presentation is good
there were uncountable grammars mistakes in my presentation
just like all d grammar mistakes in this post
my english level really limited to allow me to do a good presentation
perhaps if i can practices more,
mayb the presentation can be more smooth and steady
haha

Anyway, good feedback from both the supervisor and moderator
so, the chances for me to obtain A- is quite high
although there are also uncountable mistakes in my thesis after marked by my supervisor
haha. lets see how lo..

Throughout the whole period of FYP
a lots of ppls i wont like to say thank you to
Firstly, of couse is my laopo, Jenna
she really gave me a lots of support all this while
without her support, i was unable to fight til this moment.

Secondly, my good friend, Simon
he really help me a lot by spending time on checking my grammar mistakes in the thesis and slide.
one mistake i done was i forget to ask u check for d acknowledgment. my moderator said there are lots grammar mistakes there and i think she a bit suspect that i was plagiarism on the content part..
so funny.
Anyway, my supervisor still said d grammar errors were not much..

Thirdly, Ah Keong
i was so happy tat u are under the same supervisor as me,
u do help me a lots in many aspects
i was not tat lonely also when suffering in lab
haha..
sorry a bit gay here

Next, Sing ye
Thanks for always answering my call when i having any trouble in the project.
get use to ask u d whenever i have any problems in study and project
ur useful information really help me a lots

not forget also Ah soon,
thanks for keep kao be me everytime on the most critical period..
i sure will received ur call de .. hahaha

Besides,
all my coursemate that fresh knew in lab really help me a lots too
Tony, Kian Soon and others lab frens all vr helpful
glad to meet u all

of course, my supervisor, Mr Siew Wee Ong really give me a lots of guidance throughout d project
although most of d time he nv bother
but he do help me at the vr last min and teach me the way to make my project work
if u can give me a A- or above
i really will appreciate it. =)

Lastly, i would like to thank all my fellow course mates:
Kian Keong, Jean Choon, Sean, Siang Rui, Shirlin, Romer, Kin Woon, Jeyson,(pai she if i miss anyone) for come and visit my presentation
sorry for the poor performance on terrible English
u all really help me build good impression to both of my supervisor and moderator.

After this blog, is time to edit the hardcover thesis and prepare for final exam d.
d next post will be after i graduated d .

Final semester!!

Just finish my FYP part 1 presentation on Friday!
another step toward my mission!
actually really stress while preparing the part 1 presentation.
cause my supervisor keep ask me to improve my circuit till d nite b4!
is really make me crazy cause i can't finish d slide if my complete circuit didnt come out
but luckily end up i manage to finish it and have left a little bit time to prepare d presentation
act at 1st i plan to memories some of d speech but really too last min d
so no choice
just spontaneously lo.
haha
the most lucky thing is i get a vr nice moderator.
she gave me very good comment
Besides,
my supervisor also said i do quite well in the presentation
really thanks for everyone's support especially my laopo
she is my motivation to keep on moving forward in my mission!

Another good news is i get my best result ever in my uni life
4.0!
actually is nthg to proud of cause is oly 2 subject
haha
1 major subject and 1 co-curriculum subject
anyway, it still my best achievement among all the short sem result
so i manage to push my CGPA fr 3.61 to 3.63.

everything seems go smooth and nice
Anyway,
the real challenge is fr now on!
to have a better chance to achieve my mission,
i have retake 1 extra subject
which is Algorithm and data structure
1 of my weakest subject
really hate it but no any easier subject offer in this sem
tmr will start the in-lab assignment which is programming!!!
really no idea i can do it onot
but i will do my best la..

1 more challenge is my FYP part 2,
my supervisor will on leave on week 3-6
means i must come out my hardware in next week so i can plan my work on week 3-6 wit him lo..
really lack of time now

Another sad thing is the assignments of the 2 subjects in this sem are vr tough!
and vr time consuming
really scare of it
haha

Besides, my grandmother is going bac on next month edy,
need spend more time wid her!!
really hv to manage my time well d

Recently really vr busy la.
no choice lo..
final sem liao..
somemore need prepare for my FYP presentation
another reason i so busy is because my beloved grandmother come bac Malaysia d.
i have to spend more time to bring her out and accompany her.
cause without her, i will not be in this world anymore.
she is my real mother
i do respect her vr much
although most of my memory are kena rotan by her due to my super extremely naughty behavior. haha

and now at Cyber here busy with FYP..
laopo at UM lo
she having her new semester d
hope she can njoy her final sem there
i cant stay at Klang cause no pc
have to bac here alone lo
so pity
Anyway , finally gt some idea d after so many research.
hope i can cope wid it lo.
